Resources for Your Course During COVID-19

With COVID-19 affecting many of our valued customers across the country, we want to make sure you’re set up with tools to continue driving revenue during this time.

Customer Email Template: We have created an email template you can use to let your customers know what is happening at your club or course. We’ve activated foreUP marketing tools for all customers for the next 30 days, to allow everyone to communicate effectively with their customers.

Online Prepayments for Tee Times: It’s also a great time to utilize a feature in your online booking that requires up-front payments online for tee times so face-to-face dealings at the counter aren’t necessary.

Requiring Online Payments For Tee Times

Requiring online prepayments allows you to minimize social interactions at the course, while continuing to schedule tee times as usual. It will not only keep your business safer, it will reassure your golfers about visiting your course with so many public guidelines for caution.

After all, golf is a great game for social distancing!

Within your online booking setting, you have the ability to require online payment when booking a Tee Time when using the Online Reservation Groups.

To access this setting you just need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Settings module.
  2. Click on the Online Customer Portal tab.
  3. Click on Online Reservations.
  4. Select your Tee Sheet dropdown, and click “Edit”.
  5. Select the Reservation Group for which you’re adding the setting.
  6. Change the “Allow Online Payment” setting to “Required”.

*Note this setting only works if you are processing with an integrated credit card processor.

We’ve created this email template for you to use to tell customers you are open and a safe alternative to other social activities.

This email templates is currently available in the foreUP email marketing module.

This email was crafted to give you professional, reassuring messaging that tells customers what you are doing to keep them safe.
